Retractable or bioclimatic pergola: which one to choose?

What sets them apart
The bioclimatic pergola keeps its roof in place and plays on louvre orientation. The retractable pergola extends or folds its roof. Both are aluminium, motorisable and customisable (LED, sensors, side closures).
How to decide
Terrace exposed to rain and used all year: bioclimatic. Wish for open sky and a lighter installation: retractable. For a restaurant, either is often combined with side closures.
